Kофе aka Kofe aka Coffee was one of the pioneering Russian New Wave bands of the mid-’80s. In 2018, the Amsterdam-based record label Bordello A Parigi had reissued a 12″ single and commissioned us to establish a record design. The design contains two special elements: the typographic cover with customized Times-type as well as the illustrative detail on the sticker of the vinyl. For the illustration we collaborated with Lithuanian illustrator Kornelija Skarolskyte. For the whole design, a strong contrast of black and white was chosen. It is complemented by a sleeve that shimmers between grey and green.
