“verloren, vergessen…”

„verloren, vergessen …“ is the short title of an exhibition that took place in the city of Wittlich in 2019, focussing on the history of the baroque hunting lodge Schloss Philippsfreude. We were commissioned to create the design for the exhibition as well as for the publication. The design of the publication represents a further development of an already existing series of exhibition catalogues. Here, our task was to elaborate a design concept that is based on recognition and tradition. To meet these requirements we were focussing on further developing typography and on creating subtle hints of the baroque topic. The result is an ensemble of well-aimed typography and accentuation as well as a contrasted colour scheme of royal blue and white – thus the design follows the concept of tradition and craft.
