Brand II is an independently published book containing short stories and essays. The book contains the works of eight authors and one cinematographer that can all be summarized under the subject of ‚work‘. In close collaboration with the editors in chief, Hannah Klein and Vincent Sauer, we designed and co-published the book. The design is based on the idea of a handy format as you can find it in publications of classic German and European Literature. The cover is referring directly to its subject of „work“ by presenting a cropped scan of a typical questionnaire by the German job centre. Its flat chamois colour which reminds of office files supports this imagination.
